Muharram is one of the sacred month after Ramadan in Islam and it is the first day of the first month in the Islamic calendar. The word ‘Hijri’ originated from ‘Hijra,’ which means migration in the Arabic language. It refers to the time when Prophet Mohammed, the founder of Islam, made his journey from Mecca to Medina in 622 AD.

Festivals are always a way to celebrate the culture, share joy and happiness with loved ones.
