Ramadan is the holiest ninth month of the Islamic Calendar, it is reaching its completion in 2-3 days based on the sighting of the new moon. These are precious blessed days for all the Muslims to visit family members and friends, exchange Ramadan wishes, do charity, spend time with each other, do fasting and pray to Almighty Allah.
Eid al Fitr, is a two- three days festival that takes place immediately after the end of Ramadan month. It is observed as the most auspicious and joyous event in the Islamic faith and is also known as festival of “breaking the fast”
Muslims during these days specially takes the opportunity to thank Allah for having been granted the strength and conviction to complete the obligatory fast and obey his commandments during the holy month of Ramadan. They celebrate the festival with gathering together praying, fasting and feasting with family and friends.
